Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the fastest way to listen to Xcess music?
Click this button to listen to a 15-second edited version of the full track.
Playback will begin when the audio has been loaded.
(Note: Installation of Macromedia's Flash Player is required.
If needed, please download Flash plugin from www.macromedia.com)
2. What audio quality will I get from my purchased tracks?
The Preview music tracks are
lower-quality 48Kbps MP3 files. Your final purchased tracks will be available in both
high-quality 44.1Khz WAV, as well as CD-quality 128Kbps MP3.
3. Why is there a voice-over on preview tracks?
The voice-over "watermarking" is there for copyright
protection purposes only. Your actual final purchased music tracks do not contain this
voice-over.
4. Why don't I hear anything even when I click the "Play" button?
Please wait
a while for the audio file to load. If you still do not hear anything after repeated
tries, this may be due to temporary interruption or congetion on your service provider's network. Also, internet firewalls sometimes do prevent audio from
being downloaded to our Music Player. Please do check your network or PC's settings.
5. Can I download preview tracks?
You can use the "Download" links instead of this "Quick Preview" link to download the preview audio files onto your
computer and then play them using your default media player, e.g. Windows Media
Player, QuickTime, RealPlayer...etc.
6. The volume of the music is very low. What do I do?
All of our music has been
"normalized" or optimized for maximum audio levels possible. Try turning up the
volume of your speakers.
7. How do I make a purchase?
Click on the check box next to the version(s) of
the track that you require - Full Mix, 10-second, Loop...etc. Then click the "Add
to cart" button. This will add the selected versions to your Shopping Cart.
